NEWS/EVENTS

NUMARINE OPEN DAY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS
14.07.2010

The third year of Numarine Open day 2010 was held between July 8 and 10, 2010 in Bodrum with guests from all over the world.

Distributors and members of the press came together with the company executives at the relaxed atmosphere of Bodrum where they had the chance to go on sea trials with a number of yachts from Numarine's range.

The 78' HT with its aggressive, predatory lines and astonishing performance marked the high point of the event. The guests also had the opportunity to attend sea trials of the family friendlier version of the same hull, the 78' Fly.

The arrival of the 78' HT marks a revolutionary change in the yachting world, shifting the prevailing trend in yacht design from feline features to reptilian strength and agility.

The 78' HT has aggressive, predatory lines resembling a water creature completely dominating its environment and entirely at its element in murky waters full of unseen enemies. The shape of the hard top, the ridges at the top and the aft, similar to the dorsal spines on a dragon and the portholes all contribute to the effect.

The sheer strength and dynamism of water creatures that have ruled the waters since the Jurassic times give this exceptional yacht its soul, making the 78'HT unique among the tame and docile.

A good design is just a pretty picture if the appropriate production technology is amiss. This is why Numarineuses the most advanced technology available and constantly updates its boatyard with new materials and equipment.

Utilization of state of the art materials and automated milling machines enable Numarine to standardize and speed up the production process.

The structures of the Numarine yachts are constructed by
PVCfoam/unidirectional and multiaxial E glasswith Aramid reinforcement/Vinylester resin/sandwich construction, utilizing GSS (Grid Stiffening System). The building process includes vacuum assisted infusion along with post curing for the entire structure.

This construction method and the high-tech materials ensure a superior weight to strength ratio. We are proud to state that all Numarine boats have achieved
60% glass/resin ratio, thus resulting in a stronger, lighter and faster vessel. Another benefit is the lower center of gravity for increased stability.

The construction of the hull and deck is a sandwich shell with longitudinal stringers that run between perpendiculars and transverse bulkheads to form a unified structure. Bulkheads are built using PVC closed cell foam, which have been engineered as a part of the yachts’ structure.

The 102' RPH is an impressive, beautifully designed and lovingly built high-performance superyacht. Aggressive shark-like features and interflowing lines that add a third dimension to the hull give the 102' RPH a truly unique and dynamic style. The sharp outline of the yacht creates a feeling of speed while large glass surfaces result in an uninterrupted relationship with the sea.

The 102' RPH is as agile as it is fast. It is a joy to navigate in any sea condition, providing comfortable cruising for all on board. With speeds reaching 30 knots, the 102' RPH has been designed for going places as much as being there in style
